Cherry Crunch

Ingredients

1 can (1 lb. 5 oz.) cherry pie filling

1 t. lemon juice

1 package Duncan Hines Deluxe Cake Mix

1 c. chopped nuts

1 c. (1 stick) melted butter or margarine

whipped cream or ice cream

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Spread pie filling in the bottom of a 9-inch square pan.
Sprinkle with lemon juice.
Combine dry cake mix, nuts, and melted butter. (Mixture will be crumbly.)
Sprinkle over pie filling.
Bake at 350 degrees for 40-45 minutes, until golden brown.
Serve with ice cream or whipped cream.
